I went to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon absolutely stunning! We don't gamble and we had a great time loads of shows, and these shows aren't like your local theatre lol ;) They are spectacular.
Good luck, Sarah
Grand Canyon is fanatastic.
Bahamas... very Americanised, loads Mc Donalds etc :(
Barbados, I loved it.
Maldives, paradise on earth, but not a great deal to do unless you like water sports. (still my fave)
Antigua, not for me
St Lucia, very nice
Bermuda, expensive and cold in the winter.

Grand Canyon looking good. NO to Mc Donalds! :)
We drove from Los Angeles, across the Hoover Dam and stayed over in Las Vegas, which as Sarah has said, is fantastic. Then onto the Grand Canyon, def worth seeing, and do the plane ride round the Canyon too, it's awesome.
We drove back to L.A. from the Grand Canyon, and I think it took 9 hours, including time spent at the side of the road paying Police the speeding fine

I want to take Josh though LOL

Tut tut. I, of course, will be maintaining the relevant speed limits throughout the journey :D
Haven't been myself but fancy the cancun palace hotel (all inclusive) in cancun, mexico.
Right on the beach with crystal clear waters , jacuzzi on the balcony, endless water sports and the chance to swim with dolphins.
Seen it on one of the holiday progs last week. Neice has gone there for her past 2 hols and highly recommends it.

Hi Joe, *She'll want sun, views, peace and food* Lake Garda & Venice has all those.
We went there then onto Venice & came home on the Orient Express, it was brilliant :D
Christine, Spain.
Dominican Republic was brilliant, hot hot hot, brilliant food, lots of water sports (no comments!!!) Scuba Diving, snorkelling, sailing, etc. etc.
Fabulous beaches.
Can't beat it, your mum would love it.

San Diego! been twice, love it,but don't go in June too overcast and cloudy! May or Sept/Oct is prob.best, also popped across to Mexico from there.
L.A. is yuck!! dirty and rundown!
Not tried Grand Canyon yet,but did the european equivalent,Samari Gorge in Crete, brilliant views but hope you've got a head for heights!and are sure-footed!
Disney is great for all ages but Florida beats California hands down for the parks! We will go back!!
Canada Alberta, wide open spaces, mountains, snow, deserts, bears, moose, great food, shops, lakes, lots of driving involved though!
My brother went to Bahamas from Canada last year loved every minute, hand fed sharks, raced speedboats, mixed with rich and famous...
Depends on what you like the most,I go for animals, food variety, scenery, culture.I AVOID kids, nightclubs, crowded beaches,Mc D.s! and bad weather where poss ;)
enjoy your hols.wherever you end up,we always do!
