nope not yet 98.7 seems to be the norm! I had heard that whelping week is like hell week, and u never know when its going to end, and i have to agree, if i didnt have a vet standing by i would have flipped out by now thinking she was overdue or something is wrong. But she is absolutely fine, right on track and not behind at all, i am just more ready for these puppies than just about anyone! She is constantly licking her vulva, nesting, and takes baby sips of her milk *goat*..uhhh atleast her temperature is still dropped after its drop to 97, than spike to 99 now back to 98. Alright going to stay on puppy watch! goodnight

No puppies yet, and i get to wait for them while momma bear sleeps!! She is awake right now biting away at her ribcage, and scratching, licking her vulva, u know being restless. Vet check first thing in the morning, im hoping i get puppies soon, with the grace of god i hope they are all safe, including my bitch. Let me check her temp so i can post it. 98.9, ahhh

She just shot up and started pacing, i was like OMG this is it!!! but then she ran to her food bowl and ate the first couple of pieces of her dry food that she has had in almost a whole day!! She ate snacks, but wouldnt touch her dry food, what is this?? making energy?

hehe im excited too! Im glad im the only one awake!! My girl and i are going to bond very soon! Shes doing soo good so far, she peed on some of the whelping pads aka weewee pads and she looked at me as if saying, "those need to be switched!!" So she is in her clean warm lil enviroment, im feathering her every once in a while to help out. Times ticking

i Feel sick beyond belief!! Im living on the edge these past couple of nights, everyone around me keeps asking, "they here yet?" lol. I can't wait till these pups are 9 weeks so i can finally leave the house!! i am also breeding my queen for the last time, and i am ready and done to end all of this madness!! I have been breeding this same line of persians since i was 7! And this is my final year!

my girls last litter was like this the last two days :( i had no sleep then on the 3rd day she started at 3 in the afternoon and didnt stop till 6 the next morn :( so id gone about 75 hours without sleep and for the 1st 2weeks i cat napped and would only get an hour or so at a time ,so when the pups left at 8weeks i sleeped the clock round :) but its all worth it :) and i love every min of it lol i need to remind my self this in 6 1/2 when my other girl has her 1st litter :) x

yeah i am, and all of my pets are big huge babies, and want to be loved. I have my queen  right here on my lap!

your the same as me.im waiting an all.i was up all last night temp has dropped but i doubt this means anything cos its been the same for two days now,she pans and paces about cleans herself ect ect and then goes to sleep and it all stops.so at the mo we're both playing the waiting game.x

well yes i am playing that game as well, we have a vet appt in a couple of hours, **hopefully its the last**. I will see what he says, but im sure she is going to go into natural whelp n e minute now, everyone in my household has told me several times (you say that everyday!! WELL TODAY IS THE DAY WHETHER SHES READY OR NOT!!!!)

well going by her second mating shes officially due any day.got all good signs of it all starting but my girl has me on stand by pulling my hair out.im sure shes caught on so shes gonna keep me waiting as long as possible.ill bet all pups are boys....they say boys are lazy human babies why would it be any different with doggies!!lol

sorry guys still nothing its all gone quiet here,i had two days with her pacing and turning her bed over digging cleaning herself but its all stopped.felt pups kicking and moving around this afternoon,i dunno but is it the same with dogs as humans??When the baby stops kicking its time?taking temp and its up and down BUT havent done it tonight yet,ive come to the conclusion im on the sofa for another few nights now.its gonna be a long week,well it already has been but another one.
am i being punished lol.

hang on independant1 hasnt been on since yesterday,maybe the pups HAVE arrived but shes shattered and catching some zzzz's.

Hi all sorry for keep you waiting!! She went into natural whelp about an hour ago, so far we have 1 healthy white/fawn pup! its almost time for # 2!

mom is doing just fine, and as for my dog, shes doing good too, haha jk. She is just getting ready for the next one, she jumped on board and cut the coard and ate everything up, still no afterbirth, but its either next or all coming in last...we'll see

So far we only have one strong, happy, cute white/fawn long haired girl! she is so adorable, and mommy is doing well, getting ready for the next one!

Ur welcome im so excited, and i have been waiting like crazy, yesterday was a tough day, and i made the decision not to c-section! thank god! Pup #2 should be here in about an hour, hopefully kicking and screaming like his sister!

what breed of dog do you have and how many pups are you expecting. i love watching pups being born. my mam used to breed afghan hounds, great danes and hen in later years yorkshire terriers...bit of size difference there!!!!!
