Some of you may remember the saga over my OH's wages and only having £83 to live on for the whole of October....

Well, I  just thought I should update you all as we found out today that his admin centre (pay office) have finally agreed we can pay back the overpayment of salary for the next 12 months :D.  Its even better than we hoped for as I thought it would be over 3/4 months.  Hubby actually got a pay rise a couple of months ago so this rise and the paying back of overpayments in effect cancels each other out  so we are looking at it that we are no worse off each month ;).  Unfortunately it wont be sorted out in time for this month so we will have the whole amount come out in one lump sum on his payslip :rolleyes: but the day he is due to be paid, they will do a direct transfer to our bank account and the arrangement will start for Novembers pay.

They are still trying to sort out the money that we are owed (quite a considerable sum ) but when it is, we will then able to pay off the remainder of the overpayments in one go.

Thank you to everyone for keeping me sane at the time, I got really really stressed out with it all and I think that this wage mess up just brought the last 2 years worth of stress to a head.  Just got to survive the next 3 weeks getting ready for the dreaded out-muster then I can start to fully relax and chill out again!! :D :D
