If you wanted to set up a new business selling make up where would you go to find retailers for that particular company? How do you get hold of stock cheap is what Im asking! :)

You could always look on  'wholesale' web sites.  Just type in 'wholesale makeup' in your search engine. Sometimes you have to pay a fee of perhaps £5 for a months worth of looking. Good luck!

OWWW exciting!!! Are you going into Business??? Good Luck...have you thought about some of the 'Hairdressing' wholesalers who sell all sorts of stuff??

You want wholesalers rather than retailers :) You would be the retailer :) You really need to do a lot of research into the whole makeup industry. Find out how the whole industry works - who sells to whom. Who is allowed to sell what - are there restrictions ? What the margins are. Where/how you are going to sell it. Parties/shop/market stall etc. There is so much research to do, then you need to do a business plan to make sure that you can finance the whole thing and it is going to be a commercial success :) :)

Weeeeelllll....

*Takes a deep breath and looks sheepish*

I've kind of started buying stock. I'm literally only doing this as a bit of fun not to make money. I've always loved the idea of selling things and working in an office I dont get to do that. I spend a lot of time with kids (i.e. 8-16 year olds) and I've bought things that will be aimed at them. We do a lot of fundraising for these kids so that they can dance at competitions cheaper and we have discos and fashion shows so I've asked if I can have a little stall there and they've agreed. I've not got much at the minute but Im just going to see how it goes with what Ive got.
