I am so angry, we decided to take my 3 dogs to the beach for a what I hoped would be a nice walk. Well it was until these stupid women and there pack of dogs spoilt it.
I had seen them coming to put my dog on the lead (only let one off as the other 2 dont come back) there were 2 women with about 9 dogs all loose, my little dog has issues with black dogs since he was attacked when he was a puppy. I always put him on his lead whenever I see other dogs. I knew they had no intention of putting them on leads, so I moved up the towards the dunes out of the way, 2 dogs approced us, but went back when there were called on, they could see that my little lad was not happy and had started to growl. Then another 2 came running up, my little lad is ok if a dog approches nicely but when they run up he really does not like it, so he started to growl again, one woman called them but they did not go back so she had to come and get them by this time I was fuming. So I said to her "if your dogs get bit its your own fault, they should be on leads, I have had the deceancy to put mine on his" She just glared at me, then her friend told me to shut up, by then there were some choice words coming out my mouth, somthing along the line of "you do not own the beach" to which the other woman, said that I, yes I......... should keep my dogs under control. I nearly choked, how deluded can someone be.
This is a something that really annoys my, why can't people just put their dogs on leads. Its not hard.
One other thing, not one of them had any full poo bags, they were on the beach when we got there and still there when we left, so out of 9 dogs NON had done anything, somehow I dont think so?

So sorry to hear your walk was spoiled. I always put my dog on a lead if I see a dog approaching no matter where I am. As for poo bags, well I can take my two out anywhere all day and believe me they are crossed legged before they come home as they will not go anywhere else apart from the back garden. We've a holiday home in Heachem and not been this year as Dicksy has decided to stay indoors for the summer! (although been out twice this week!) We don't like to stress him but when we used to go away for the weekend it was hours on hours of walking to get him to have a wee! Biscuit is the same, doesn't do anything outside his own garden, he's not been away for the weekend so don't know how he'd be. x

A common courtesy, respect for other people and their dogs and the decent thing to do when approaching other strange people and their dogs is to take control of one's own. Whether that's verbal or by putting them on lead, so be it. Not everyone wants to be harassed by a dog and to that end; dogs/walkers/owners are no different than anyone else.
We have a lad round here with a Labrador that he lets off lead. The dog runs off and from then on, he runs round the field after him calling but the dog ignores him. The other day some peeps were walking along the footpath, along comes the dog followed by owner, dog bounds up to these people, jumps up and they're darting and shouting trying to avoid this dog. Owner kept trying to catch dog in-between apologising to these people.......... dog looked as though he thought it was a new game

 One day.....
