Any suggestions, ive blotted it all over with kitchen towels, threw them away then trod all over on bath towels, then febreezed it?

Would have thought that you would need to wash/disinfect the area - there is nothing like the smell of stale milk :( :(

Other than the smell of stale milk with febreeze overtones  :D

Seriously though, I would have used a damp sponge with some washing powder.

Diluted bio-washing powder and then rinse with diluted white vinegar - exactly as if someone had puked/poo'd ;)  Otherwise you'll wish they had in about a weeks time :D :D :D

I was going to use bio liquid wash on it but then before i wrote the question i looked it up on line and it told me to do what i did, but with another substance not febreeze, will do what i was going to do first, thanks.

:) :)

Personally, I'm not a fan of Febreeze - to me it's a bit like not washing/showering, just spraying on perfume every day to cover the smell :D :D :D

What's wrong with that? :D

Could you not have employed some dogs to clean it up? :p ages ago I literally threw a mug of milk all over my front room after I tripped over a dog bed, never smelt it because the dogs cleaned it up before it got a chance to go off :D They even cleaned it off the door!

Febreeze was what was recommended to my son for going to University, Febreeze for his clothes and they would last a lot longer without a wash!!

I *think* I read somewhere that Febreeze may not be suitable for use around pets.

Anyone able to back this up or is another one of those things that I might just have made up?  I wish I had some sort of mental labelling system that would clearly differentiate between reality and everything else that goes on in my head

I can't back it up ShaynLola.....but I *think* I read something like that too!  Keep going to buy the stuff then thinking, no.....it's bad for the animals.

Thought it could have been a dream (I have odd dreams:confused:) so I'm glad it's not just me!

It makes Merlin really itchy, haven't used it for ages because of this.

Me to,  the smell of it along is a smell that triggers something in my brain that makes me think of masking ;-)
