one of my pups is going to Denmark and the new owners tell me that if i write a letter to their government office stating that i bred it, where its was bred and confirming it had never had contact with wildlife, then there was a special authority that we could get so that he could go there before he has his rabies jabs:confused: have to say i have never heard of this before with any of my previous exported pups, but then its  1st time i have sent one to Denmark......so....can anyone tell me if they have done this with a pup and how complicated the procedure is?

As far as i was aware pups under 12 weeks didn't have to have Rabies jabs, and once they were over they had to wait a month after the jab.

We bought one of girls from a breeder from Denmark into Germany and she told us the same thing you have been told Sam, that if you state it has not had any contact with wildlife ect that would be enough, although  i don,t have any written source for this as just our youngest girls breeders word for it.

To add further , our German vet did not have a problem with it when we did take her for a check up and jabs when we got her home and she has her passport as normal.I think the problem would be more for a dog entering the uk.
