I just wanted to say Mitz and I had the best walk in ages today! :) :)

We go to a park where it is all enclosed and safe to let dogs off lead (If trained I hastened to add!) and when Mitz and I arrived there were 2 dogs already there! She got on with all of them and had some good fun chasing her ball which I was throwing for her, the dogs were a dalmation, lurcher cross.

Then a Cocker Spaniel (Lovely lovely breed! A beautiful golden colour with a blode wig on top of his head! :D) one we hadnt seen before came bolting into the park with his owner calling him from behind, 'oh no' was my 1st thought, as his lead was traiing behind him, he turned out to be the loveliest spaniel ever! Him and Mitz scarpered round for about 30 mins they were having so much fun, going crazy running together and at each other him trying to get Mitz ball.
Then a black german shepard cross came and claimed mitz as his new girlfriend! Then a retriver came over and started playing too, and lastly a little black terrier came along to join in, about 6 dogs playing together all nicely and having so much fun together!! Was a mad park today!
Been the best walk for a long time and Mitx was knacekered when she left! :) :D :)

Couldnt ask for more when all good dogs get totogether its a wonderful sight!

Sounds like fun! I took my son to the beach today and there was a labrador down there with his owner throwing a ball into the sea for him, it was a lovely sight seeing him splash through the waves to retrieve his ball, he looked like he was having a great time! :)

It was great fun, Mitz gets on with every dog there is and was great to see other dogs just as friendly!

Although all of the owners of the other dogs couldnt get over how obedient Mitz was! She always the star at anyu park or wood we go too! She makes her mummy proud! :)

We've had a cracking week of weather here, for a change :)

Took the dogs out early (6am-ish) so it was nice and cool.  Went to a local country park that I tend to avoid as it is vertical and I'm not the fittest so the steep hills are a killer   We don't see many people at that time of the morning (just as well, anyone seeing me puffing and wheezing my way up the side of a mountain would probably be inclined to call the cardiac team!). Fab view from the top of the whole city, the mountains on the far side and the Lough :) Great way to start the day. We sat and admired the view and watched planes take off from the local airport for a few minutes before heading back. We met 3 lovely little CKCS on the way back to the car park and had a nice chat with the owner who relaxed visibly when she saw that my 2 weren't about to make breakfast out of her littl'uns :)

Felt very virtuous after all that exercise so rewarded myself with a sausage sarnie :D  I'll never get the hang of this diet malarky

Diet? Whats that? :P

The sun is out here for a change as well, will take Mitz for a lovely walk later and hopefully meet more friendly dogs! :)
