My bichon had blood on the fur on this nose this morning.  Much of it has gone now where he has licked it away.  I dont know how he did it as he was like that when i came downstairs this morning.  He's got a dog flap so it could have been done outside in the garden somehow.  He ate his food this morning, but now he's been sick.
There's no obvious open wound on his nose.  I thought that because he's been licking the blood this may have caused him to be sick.  He otherwise seems ok in himself. What do you think.  Do you think i should get him checked out by the vet?
Thanks for any help.

I don't know what this could be but I'd be inclined to go to the vet just to have him checked out.  Being sick just once isn't a problem but I'd want to know where the blood came from to put my mind at rest.
Hope your boy is better soon.

If he has a dogflap is it possible he killed something in the garden this morning, ate it, and it's that which made him sick? Just a thought.
