Topic Other Boards / Foo / Test tomorrow - please wish me luck!

Got a test tomorrow afternoon and I haven't slept properly for the past 2 days worrying about it!! :(

I cant or rather I wont say too much more about this test ;)  :D but this is the very first step in my new plans for the future.  Its one of these aptitude test things, (verbal, quantitative, abstract reasoning and decision and non cognitive analysis).  I will also get the results as soon as I have finished!

HELP!!!!  I am really bricking it!  Doesn't help that I will be amongst people almost half my age and that I could in fact be their mother!!!

This is only a small step now but the larger ones are on the horizon and the long jump hopefully next year!

Don't worry, just relax. You feel as thick as a plank right now but if you just go with the flow, you'll do well. I've done them in the past in conection with my job and they take all day. I have to admit though, I felt like a complete idiot and that I was in against the best in the world because someone had made a mistake. Make sure you have plenty of drinking water with you and maybe some rescue remedy.

You'll be OK. Good luck and all the best. Let us know how you get on please.

GOSH!  2 hour test and I am completey and utterly drained!!!

Verbal Reasoning (given a passage and some statements - are the statements true, false or cant tell).  Score 600

Quantitative Reasoning (given graphs/charts etc and asked various Q's on them) - Score 620

Abstract Reasoning (loads of related shapes in 2 separate groups - given another shape - which group does it belong to).  Score 660

Decision Analysis (list of codes, decipher a message and chose the best option that matches).  Score 550

Interpersonal Values: (dilemma type statements and if you agree, disagree etc etc):  Your responses suggest that you equally value the needs, well-being and freedom of individuals and the laws, norms and rights of society.  Wen you feel a conflict between what each person should be able to do and what society expects them to do, you are likely to try hard to balance these interests.

With regards to the scoring, majority of people taking the test score between 500 and 700 (possible scores between 300 and 900)  Average score is 600.  So, do my scores sound ok???  They make me part of the norm but is this ok?  I really dont think I could have improved on the scores much (possibly the Quantitative one cos I ran out of time ).

Found it tough but glad its all over now.  Will hopefully be putting step 2 into action in the next few weeks ;)
