My puppies are now 6 weeks old and will all too soon be going to new homes. I have registered the pups, endorsed the pedigree's, got puppy packs etc but I wondered about puppy contracts? I really want to ensure that if at any time during the dogs life they (the new owners) cannot keep this dog that he/she will be returned to me.
Any advice on anything I can do to make puppy's life easier (and mine too)when the time comes would be much appreciated.
thanx

Jackie, if you type 'puppy contracts' into the search facility at the top of the forum page, it brings up a few previous threads that may be of interest to you :-)

Kassie is microchipped and on the form there are breeders details under the health conditions saying special instruction Sues name address and tel no. Don't know how much good this will do but I should imagine that if ever the details were to be changed etc from my name, Kassie got lost or ended up rescue etc- Sue could probably find out

As she's practically signed the dog.

i am also microchipping my babies before they go with my number on the registration forms also, then if they can't find or get hold of an owner they should ring me !!

I think it's a great idea:) As my breeder says- she is responsible for bringing the puppies into this world and always will be:)
