Hi All - I don't suppose anyone has their passes for WKC yet? I havn't. Just a bit concerned with all these postal strikes going on. Would someone let me know when they get theirs, so I can keep an eye out for my post?

My Bournemouth passes arrived today.

I haven't had Bournemouth or WKC yet, hopefully they'll arrive in the next couple of days.

I'm hoping they come tomorrow now.  We're not going to the SKC as trying to limit the shows with longer drives, to many in one month and my oh will go stir crazy, LOL

no passes here for wkc nor my sister or my friend we have had post fine here in the south dog papers and all (you have not missed much!!!)

Some post offices have a backlog of three weeks worth of work, so you may not get them in time:rolleyes:

Yeh, Royal Mail strikes (Grrrr ). I work for JCP, and even though it's the Royal Mail who are on strike, our staff get the abuse if the giro's don't turn up. Most customers are now paid in to B/Acc or Post Office card account, but some of those remaining on giro can get very abusive and threatening to staff. The department has organised for all giro's to be sent to customers nominated post offices on their normal pay dates to assist with the problem, but we, not Royal Mail staff get the abuse? It happened the last time when they had a prolonged strike.
Never mind, work is work, and I still want my passes for WKC, how long do you think I should give it before ringing up?

Ring up and check..I've finally had confirmation that the KC papers I posted have arrived...only 3 days late...

Nope no WKC passes here either, although the Bournemouth ones have arrived, i'm going to give them a ring on Monday if they don't come.

We haven't got our bournemouth passes (not doing WKC) but then we haven't got last weeks dog papers either.

Post coming through now is postmarked 1st August, which was i think Wednesday, so I am hoping that those which should have arrived Thursday make it on Monday.  If they dont - thank goodness for entering on line!

bournemouth came today SKC yesterday WKC still waiting but plenty of time .......she says!!!!

Got both Bournemouth and WKC so must be in favour with the post office down here in Sunny Somerset.

My mum works for the post office and she's been told that in some areas there is a back log of about 14 days mail at the sorting offices :rolleyes:

I'll give it until wednesday i think now.

When do I start panicking?

its just short of two weeks until wkc I am not panicking yet as I only just recieved my passes for Bournemouth on Saturday , the show is this Saturday! :)

Today I had to go to the local sorting office as missed delivery on Saturday of 2 parcels (I was at Houndshow & hubby was out dog walking & teenage son on sleepover elsewhere)
Anyway I was told most sorting offices have a considerable backlog of post -
I received stuff posted the 3rd week of July by first class mail today !

No WKC passes in Hampshire yet

This seems strange - I e-mailed Highams and have been told passes are being sent today!!! So how come some have been received already? I am surprised they have left it so late as they must know lots of people go straight from Bournemouth

I've just come off the phone from Higham and have been told exactly the same that they are being posted tonight by 1st class post.

Me too. :) But now I have realised I have not received the passes for the CAT show THIS Sunday -can't see much of a chance of getting them in time now, especially as show sec can't be reached until this evening.....
