Topic Dog Boards / Health / Found a lump, should I be worried?

My 11 year old spayed bitch has a lump.  It is on her underline just behind her front legs.  The best way to describe the lump & it's mobility & "texture" is that it feels like a puppy's testicle.  We're off to the vets tomorrow for an exploratory on her stomach lining & I will of course show the vet, just wondered if anyone had come across a lump like this & knew what it was & how serious?

Thank you

All lumps on a bitches under carriage should be viewed with suspicion and checked out, half are likely to be benign but never worth not checking.

The flattish lumps that feel like Jelly (benign fatty lipomas) are usually not in the mammary area but on the sides and chest.
