...than the smell of a dog who has rolled in fox poo.

I was wrong

The smell of a dog (or, more precisely, 2 dogs ) who have liberally applied eau de decomposing hedgehog is infinitely worse *insert vomiting smiley here*

They have had the tomato ketchup treatment and been shampooed but I can still smell it!!

One thing is certain...they'll not be sleeping with us tonight!

Rotting rat beats everything, even rotting snake. We were walking the dogs and kept coming across places that stank abominably. Then we realised that it only stank whenevr Bella ran past us.

We had to drive back with all the car windows open, heads hanging out, trying not to vomit. And the dogs she touched had to be bathed as well.

My old Lab (God bless her...now long gone..) thought that rotting putrefied cuttlefish was theee BEST ever perfume. Lived by the sea then with ample opportunity for her to apply it liberally and frequently....and nothing but nothing washes it off but time.

My old Tibetan Terrier rolled in rotting hedgehog too   he'd just had a bath and we'd gone for a nice long walk in the sunshine and were 2 miles from home.  I had to walk the whole 2 miles back home pulling quills out as we walked, there were so many! I was terrified he'd get pierced and get a bad infection.  And didn't know about tomato sauce in those days :( so washed him about 5/6 times and still the smell didn't go, seemed to last for weeks

It really is rank!

Speaking of rolling in unpleasant things... Friday, Smartie the recovering cat decided not to bother with the litter tray and have a poo on my bed  Grrrr. Then Oscar decided it looked far to neat and in one place so thought he'd better roll around in it covering my entire bed and himself in it, he looked and smelt vile (as did my entire bedroom)
And he'd just come back from a show that day so looked lovely up until that point!
Animals, don'tcha just love em!

I must be the luckiest person around, mine don't ever roll  but Blade does have a nasty habit of hiding his poo's by using his nose to cover it with the grass etc. Sometimes when he misjudges that can be a problem, especially if he is after a kiss and you haven't noticed till it's too late

Emz it's prudent to vow never to kiss anything/anyone that licks their own bottom for this very reason!
