We went to see the new Harry Potter film last night and I'm beginning to think Monday nights at the Cinema are cursed for us :(

This time a little girl about 5/6 years old was allowed to go to the loo on her own  and came back really crying.  They were sitting behind us so we heard everything ;)  She had shut her fingers in the doors     she was really upset and cried for the last half of the movie, so she must have been in real pain.  Did her parents go out and check her out properly? did they even put cold water on it?  NO! they carried on watching the film and shushed her!!  The child was in pain !!!    OH turned round and suggested at least checking her properly and putting cold water on, but they weren't interested     They did do a runner afterwards tho, but I think that had more to do with the steam coming out of OH's ears

I can't believe that they would rather watch a film than make sure their child was ok! :( :( :(

Sorry about the rant but...

With all the terrible things that go on today, I am amazed at anyone allowing such a young child to visit the loo alone! Years ago, even when I had my young family, we always took ours to the loo in any public place.
Some people,indeed!!

  Just goes to show that some people never learn.  You would think that with all that's been in the news for the last couple of months that they wouldn't let her out of their sight

We still go to the public loo with Little-Un ;)  If his dad's with us it's the gents but if we're all girls he has to go to the ladies which he hates   I've told him he'll be begging to go in there in a few years time and at least it smells better! :D :D

It's a smallish local cinema, but I wouldn't have let mine out of sight and he'll be 10 soon ;)

It's at times like that you realise that common sense is a very rare commodity.

I thought the harry potter film was for over 12's ??

I think it's a 12A, then children under the age of 12 can go and see it so long as they are accompnied by someone over 18 who is also watching the film.

Oh I see - its all changed since I was a kid, I remember when the first 12 film came out - Batman.  I was 11 and went to see it with my older brother (he was more scared of getting caught than me !!)
