Or another one to add to our increasing tax bill

:D :D
It is nice to get some pleasant news for a change rather than the doom and gloom of late :)
>Or another one to add to our increasing tax bill
How come? They don't get any money from the Civil List ... ;)

They do indirectly as go round to Grandma's for tea and scones occasionally :D

Ah, but as Grandma is also a taxpayer ... :D

Yes but I am sure she doesn't have a rant when she sees her P60 at the end of the year as it is just a little drop in a very big ocean for her :D :D
>I am sure she doesn't have a rant
No, I expect she has staff to do that! ;) :D :D

Please people no nastiness or Royal jibes if you can say nothing nice please say nothing at all I posted as I thought a little "GOOD NEWS" was possibly called for in this time of sadness and worry.
And surely a baby is good news a new life.

No I know I saw the smillies but I am not in the most cheerful of moods this week and feel a little good news should be cherished, not offered up for pot shots.
No one here has offended me.

And of course Lucy you know the saying - new house, new baby :) :D :D
I quite like Edward and Sophie :) and wish them well with their future addition to their family :)
>Who we pay for out of our taxes
No, they're taxpayers too! :D
I think it's good news, anyway. :)
It is good news, a new baby is always exciting and the is it a boy or girl? and what is the name? is always something we all get wrapped up in.
Must admit though they have been to me anyway very low profile with their first child, I haven't read or seen much of their family life at all, they are certainly keeping things very private, I guess that is the way they want it, but it is a lot more exciting for the public when people are often seen in the newspapers, we are always seeing Wills and Harry and it endears us to them. (Well it does me)
So I guess for Edward and Sophie this will be a quiet congratulations and then be forgotten about until the birth.
Aw, that is good news! I felt so sorry for them when they lost the first baby, they must have wondered whether or not they would have a child at all after the first time and here they are having their second! :)

They have a daughter already, Oldilocks!

I think it's great news too!

Yes, but she didn't come easily, and wasn't well enough to leave hospital for ages. They must be overjoyed to be able to have another, but terrified in case it doesn't go well. I hope they have a much better time this time round.

I know she was only 4lbs odds but she still wasn't 'lost'!

She's 3 years old now, isn't she?
Her first pregnancy was ectopic, I believe, so after that, she was fortunate to have their first little girl O.K. Now that she is pregnant again, you can only be happy for her after all she has gone through!

I think that's lovely news - what a wonderful Christmas they'll have :-)

Gosh they started rather late. couldn't imgain havng a baby of my own now, thinking on the lines of granparenthood in the next five years.

Yes she is. I only know this because she was due the same day that I was and remember being really shocked to learn that she was born premature. I was lucky and Archie was born on his due date!
