After a litter advice if you don't mind :)
I have an 18 day old singleton pup that is constantly constipated.  Mum toilets her but only for wees so I've been doing the other. The last few days the only way I can get her to go is to insert a small thermometer with some Liquid Parrafin on and then stimulate her, she does have trouble passing, its normal colour but quite hard.  Obviously this isn't ideal and was wondering if there is something I can feed mum to help

TIA

Give her a little liquid parrafin. Put some on a tea spoon or syringe and give her it orally. Works for me everytime.

Thank you :)
We had a good result today without the thermometer after giving LP orally

Thanks again

Please be extra careful about giving anything by mouth - if it goes down 'the wrong way' the pup may drown!

Yes I'm always nervous doing this, but gave drop by drop very carefully
But a good point :)
Thankyou
