Thoughts please. I started off, approx 4yrs ago with two hens and two ducks. Unfortunately, the last hen had to be PTS this week due to illness. And the fox had the female duck last year. Count Duckula and last hen seemed fine, but now he is alone....there are always pheasants in the garden and he spends most of the day chasing pigeons off the garden,and seems ok.

But.......I dont want to part with him, I have a friend with other ducks who would like him. Will he be happier with them or staying with me?
I know ducks dont like to live alone, but he seems happy enough. What would be the best decision for him?

I do not wish to have anymore poultry so that is not an option.
