has any 1 else used this method to register their litter?
i did mine on Monday signed in today and all 1st choices have been granted and paperwork is in the post :D thats what i call quick :D im very impressed :D

im so glad we were given the 1st choices as the theme was inspired by a friend on another forum who became close friends with a royal marine who at 24 yrs old and after such a brave battle died from cancer, she kept us all up to date with his progress and how courageous he was right up to the end where he married his fiance a few short days before he sadly passed :(
i hope his fighting spirit and courage lives on through my pups

I too used the online registration on Monday, they must have been busy lol.  I too had my first choice names granted within a couple of hours and my KC registrations are in the post... brilliant service.

Yes I used it in December.  Very fast I think I had paperwork back in 3 - 5 days.

The only disadvantage I an see is to stud owners that don't charge until after the litter is born, and previously counted on being paid when they signed the registration form (common in my breed).  Requires even more trust and anyone with a stud would do well to keep an eye on the BRS.

The KC do ring you or write to you to confirm that the stud dog details are correct.  I presume if there was a problem then the registrations would be void.

Ah that is good, though I wonder how long ti takes them as my freind never got a call when her dog was used and the litter were registered online.

I had a letter very quickly (certainly within the week) confirming the use of our dog for a litter registered online. I was quite impressed with that!

My stud dog owner got a letter on Wednesday morning after I had registered the litter on Monday so it was 2 days.  Pretty quick service I think.

I used the online service for the first time in January, and couldn't be more impressed.  I will certainly continue to use it.

I've used it but I do worry about people using incorrect information.  I had the papers within a few days and the owners of the stud dog received the letter on the same day that I received the paperwork.  I presume that if the stud dog owner contacted them to say that he had not been used that the KC would put a block on the transfer etc. of said pups I don't know, but it is rather worrying the speed that you get the paperwork!

If someone doesn't pay straight away for a stud fee they don't get any paperwork off me until a cheque has cleared.
