What would i expect to find in a' puppy pack' ?  Thanks in advance .

A minimum of a diet sheet.....what the feeding routine of the puppy is
Details of previous wormings and when you would be expected to worm again
A supply of puppy food........around enough for 2 weeks
KC registration documents/6 weeks free insurance
Contract of Sale

extras would include copies of all health certificates for the parents
copy of the 3 or 5 generation pedigree
a small piece of bedding that has been used for the litter (dirty & smelly)

I'm sure that others will add to this ;)

we provided-
KC registration papers which included health test status details,
5 generation pedigree,
pics of dogs in 5 generation pedigree,
6 weeks free insurance,
puppy sheet that included diet info, training info, (previous) worming info (dates etc), general info ( re handling classes/ socialisation info,training info,  toys, etc)
1 kg bag of  puppy food that pups were weaned on,
3 puppy toys...........
endorsement contract (which new owners were already aware of - re mating conditions/ health tests needed etc)
let me think what else

i always miro chip my litters before they go to their new home one thing less for the new owners to think of.

i have done 5 litter of my own and other litter at 7 to 8 week with no problem at as rised with the chip.

Mine is similar to lel's!

Hi I probably just repeating what others have posted but in our puppy packs we include:

KC reg certificate, 5 generation pedigree, information leaflet about the breed and how to care for your new puppy, several puppy menus, poison plants list, worming certificate, puppy and children living together info leaflet, suggestions on house training, basic training tips, 2kg bag of puppy food, tub of litterlac and a life time support throughout the puppys life.
We are also starting to include photos of the litter as they have grown, pictures and hip and elbow scoring for most if not all the parents, grandparents etc:

In that case the least you should get is what chocymolly say's however a good breeder will put in added things :)

We've had in puppy packs in the past SAE of the breeder to send back photo's but really it depends on the breeder.  There is no set pack.

Also some breeders who are breeders members for the food they feed may have got puppy packs for the food suplliers.  I know eukanuba do a nice one, and  arden granges is quite decent, those are the only two I've seen but I'm sure most are similar. :)

Nutro's you have to pay for but they are well worth it!

Burns provide a 2 kilo bag of puppy food plus a £5 off voucher for the first order. The breeder also gets a free bag of food for each new customer. As for puppy packs, I include a "comfort" blanket which smells of mum and siblings, "The Perfect Puppy" book, Book of the bitch (for the girls), teething toy, comb, breed info, breed club membership, picture of mum with litter in first few days, picture of puppy around 6 or 7 weeks old, plus pedigree, diet sheet, worming record etc.

I must have got a raw deal when I bought my puppy. Paid £700 and all I got was a diet sheet, no food, nothing, and when I asked what she had been fed on, I was told to get her any good quality food. Not a very good start, and to cap it all the puppy had a Liver shunt and had to have major surgery yesterday.

Ye sthe perfect puppy is a good book.

The book of the bitch is good if you intend to breed and ok if your intrested in how a bitches system works. 

Also I would suggest getting a book (or two) on the breed you are getting. :)  That will contain alot more breed specific information :)

Yes I have that one as well as the perfect puppy. 

I give all my puppy buyers Sherleys dog Book which is very good for day to day care and ailments etc.

I recommend the above as well as a breed book.
