hi can anyone give me any advice my bitch is on day 54 and panting alot i noticed a little bit of yellow green discharge and took her straight to the vet she cant seem to settle i have just come back from the vet who gave har a shot of antibiotics. said she might be in early stages of labour or she could have an infection. her temp was norm she just said to keep an eye on her. shes settled a bit now and laid on the couch but still panting heavy

I don't know where you are but here in Manchester it is really hot, even now at this time and I've got all my windows open.  This may be a factor. 

hi thanks for your reply im in yorkshire and it has been really hot.i have a fan on and the windows open shes in a deep sleep now still breathing heavy hopefully she will be ok.she is big this time. It was the discharge what made me PANIC

Hope all goes well.  My mum's dog has just had 4 pups 8 days early and it's been hard work.  Luckily 3 of them are still alive and althugh the mother can't be trusted to have them with her full time she does seem to be doing well with them at the moment.

i am glad mum and pups are doing well. I will keep you posted how my little girl or should i say big girl is going on thanks. Drew
