hi all

a little while back in a post regarding someones dog having the squits, there was a mention of feeding one article of food to combat the runs and another to combat constipation...cant seem to find it now...friends dog has poorly bum   very well in himself, hasnt gone downhill health wise, running around as usual like a looney, drinking ok, appetite normal, has been eliminatoring different parts of his diet to see what the cause is, to no avail, personally i think one of the kids has probably given him something that they shouldnt..just wondered if anyone can remember what the fore mentioned food was??

Regards

Nicci

I feed either mashed potato (no butter or milk) or hard boiled eggs - this usually stops the runs!

Constipation - I know vitamin c helps!

For constipation an increase in fibre is frequently the answer.

I believe Pumpkin will help with both.  Quite popular in the USA as you can buy it plain or sweetened (obviously unsweetened for the dog) in tins.
