Is she scratching all the timeand does she have irritated eyes and ears?
I think I also have a dog with hayfever, a Laborador he's 15 months old. He has had irritation aroung his eyes and in his ears for months and he frantically rubs his face on the grass, or carpet if indoors. He has had 3 courses of antibiotics and no joy, he is also pretty weary and tired.
Dogs do not actually get hayfever but they can be allergic to certain types of pollen so I believe.
You would have to have an allergy test to see. I don't know what they can do though if they do discover it is an allergy to a type of pollen. Probably not alot - unfortunately.

Hiya
yep, dogs are just as prone to hayfever as humans. Poor little things. Your best bet would be piriton, but consult your vet first, save on a consultaion and give them a ring (you might be able to get away with just that). Ask for them to advise you. They may well say bring her in, but it does sound like hayfever. It is a very high pollen count at the moment so that would make it worse.
Dont worry though. Its not really serious. But it would make her a lot more comfortable to get it treated.
