I am on holiday and trying to tidy up loose ends this week things I've been meaning to do hence the questions sounding dumb. There again I am dumb so bear with me. :rolleyes: Please.

Right I have sky through the dish thingey on the front of the house great reception and it is only fed through to the living room however if I wanted to have it in another room and watch different channels is it worth buying a TV Link as in Argos catalogue P377 item 20. It says it allows me to watch and change your Sky  channels on another TV with my sky remote.

You would have to watch the same channel as the other room - if you wanted to watch different channels then it is sky multiroom which is £10 a month extra.  We got our old box moved to another room and got HD on the main TV - my hubby's Christmas present.  He never thinks to look if a programme is on HD so that was a waste of money.  However I am quite happy because I sit and watch all my programmes whenever I like now :-)  I think I got the best deal from his present.  Hee hee - Heroes tonight.

We have sky multi room too, and my daughter has another box in her room too as our normal reception is rubbish. It is shared through one of these splitter thingy's with her sister ( the wireless thingy) and they do have to watch the same channel but it works quite well.
Be very careful getting multi room - since getting it this time last year I now disappear into my bedroom as soon as I get in from work - between that and CD I never get a thing done :D don't say you weren't warned!
