Okay I have a digi/set-top box. But am having trouble getting a couple of channels UKTVStyle and UKTV Gold - the channels come up on the telly ie the numbers and whats on in the menu at the bottom but no picture.

Is it do you think because I have a settop ariel? or have I another problem?

Aren't they channels that you have to pay for?  Do you get the message "scrambled signal" if you leave the tele on those channels for a couple of minutes?

Ta someone else said something similar never realised that I thought as they appeared on the freeview box I should be able to see them. But maybe not.

They are definitely not Freeview channels -you will get a list that includes quite a few channels you can't get, daft as it may seem.

Some of the channels available on Freeview are only available for part of the day - quite annoying - even when you do the top up tv payment they are still not 24 hours. We had real problems trying to cancel our payment with Freeview and bank had to step in and do it for us in the end. Wouldn't bother with top up tv again :(

We couldn't receive Freeview until very recently. Now we can - but not all channels ie ITV etc :( :(
