Sometimes I really despair of this country...what scum...

This is only after the recent case of a Border Collie being tied up and set alight.  That case has had people up in arms and offering substantial rewards to find the perpetrators.  I wonder if it could be the same people or copycats.

if incidents like this were focussed on in politics I'd be voting for the party who advocated a similar punishment for the perpetrators   I can't ever imagine thinking it would be a good idea to set fire to animals - sick bas***ds

I'm with you there cheekychow- I'd vote for any party with the guts to put in place proper punishment for anyone who does something like this.
I can't write here what I really think of the people who did this, all I can say is they are sick, sick bas***ds

Can anyone remember that poor 5 momth rottie pup that was skewered, did they ever catch the perpetrators?

That's horrendous!!
Those poor dogs, not to mention the poor owner coming back to her car.

Oh how awful, gives me goose bumps just reading it.  Poor dogs what an awful way to go.

While I second everything that has been said and please let these scum get their day some time soon   I am equally annoyed with the owners who decided to shut their dogs in a car at a car boot sale on what was a VERY hot day when out in the open - nevermind shut inside a car...This is local to me and I was devastated at the news

Are they sure is was arson?  If it was a very sunny day something flammable in the car could have overheated or something glass like a pair of spectacles could have caused a fire when struck by the sunlight.

Did wonder the same Isabel, but all the reports say arson and there were lots of people there so I assumed there were witnesses?  Possible it wasn't though I guess...Again, for me the dogs shouldn't have been in that situation in the first place :(

I thought they were appealling for witnesses.  It seems to me it always take a little time to determine the cause of any fire so I think I will wait and see on this one.
