hi all, a few of you may remember me saying that my daughter was raped last august but the squaddie who did it , went awol from the barracks he was remanded in , so the trial we all turned up for on 26th jan , had to be cancelled . well they now have him in custody, and a new trial date has been set for 8th may, to last approx 4 days, & my first driving test is booked for the 17th may !!! i dont know if i should cancel the test until a later date, but then i get stressed out again, coz i need to pass my test to get down to leeds as my mum is getting more needy with her lung cancer !

I am so sorry about your daughter. It seems that you can cancel at the latest 3 days before the your test with out fee or charge. So how about leaving it for now and seeing how the trial goes? Then if need be you can reschedule it to a later date?

trial starts 8th may for approx 4 days...driving test is booked for the 17th may. that is 10 days difference. you can still take the test?

I would take the test anyway (unless money for test fee is a problem) as it will be good practice and you could pass it anyway. That way also you get all your stress over and done with at the same time instead of having to feel stressed about taking your test at a later date.

I hope the trial has a successful outcome along  with your driving test.

I can say you can still take the test and the latest you need to cancel to get a full refund is 3 working days so I would say at least wait untill then to cancel it. :)

thanks for the advice ive checked it out & i can cancel 3 days before , so i,ll try to keep calm til then. !
