I'm hoping that somebody will be able to help us work out if my husband is owed any holiday pay. He left his emplyment on 13th April after 9 years. His holidays begin on 2nd January - he get 28 days each year and is contracted to work bank holidays. He works 6 days every week and since 2nd January, has worked 87 days but has took 7 days holiday so has worked 80 days if we deduct them. Can anyone help us to work out if any further holidays are owing?

I'm not an expert so my calculation might be way off, but it looks as though your husband would get 2.3 days holiday per month?
If he has taken 7 days holiday since January 2nd to April 13th it seems to me that he hasn't any more days left!

I might be wrong, and I'm sure some experts will be along soon :D

Thankyou Maria - think your about right there. I have been in touch with ACAS and they kindly gave me the formula to work it out and according to my calculations, he is owed 1/2 days pay:rolleyes:
