Well, with one thing and another its been a while since I have been in the showring... Our Breed champ show last week saw Wallace taking VHC in Junior Dog, and Ollie taking 3rd in Undergrad Dog...
Today was just a small open show.. but.. it was Hunters 1st... now 6months and 5days.. my baby is growing up
and I am so tickled with result... only 1 Lab clas.. so all three entered.. I run them all... and I tell you 10 times round the ring and twice up and down.. well.. puff/pant/ ;)
anyway.. so exited...
7 entries
1st & BOB Wallace
2nd another Lab
3rd Tia
Reserve Hunter... my baby got placed in an open class.. :D :D
its been a good day :D

How did you do that? I have given up on Open shows as invariably both my dogs are eligible for the same classes, and I cannot be bothered to go to a show to take a one dog for one class.

lol Barbara.. 2 handlers.. they stand the dogs in the line up.. I just swap dogs and run :D
Have done this a couple of times in the past...
In fact I think I did this too, when Lucy and Mike were up.. they stood with Ollie and Xanthe.. I had Tia... but I run with them all, and just swaped dogs over ....
Its just making sure that all dogs are back with original handlers with the correct ring numbers...
Edited to add for Babara... I did have a novice with me today just by chance.. but i the past.. I have literally walked into the ring with 3 dogs and ask ringside for handlers.. told them it was just to stand dogs not to run them.. and have had little problems getting help...Stewards have been brilliant for helping in past too... like you.. I have too many dogs to go to open shows.. but I do love them, so find this is a good way of managing it...
WTG...well done to your gang!!!

Well done Kay - hope you have recovered from all that running around - I struggle with one sometimes let alone running three! :)
