Topic Other Boards / Foo / I'm here (but shouldn't be)

Not sure if I dare to really look in to CD after 6 days absence to see what's been going on, as I have so many e-mails to reply to I haven't the time  ! But just wanted to say I've been ill all week (felt so bad I asked the doctor to shoot me!), first time today I've been able to sit up and that took some doing. SO I'm here now, but shouldn't be, because we should of course have moved house TODAY! Only it wasn't possible when I couldn't do any packing or anything so it had to be delayed AGAIN! Trying for next weekend......

It WILL be worth the wait :D
Get well soon, and close your eyes to all the posts LOL

Oh Nooo :(

Hope you're feeling better soon.

You know when you actually move, nothing else will ever go wrong - you've used up all your bad luck/karma/whatever - time for things to sail along happily at clan goldmali :)

Guess what, now my broadband connection is gone !!! I think they might have cancelled it today even though it was meant to work until the 31st..... So I've just checked in via dial up to say now I really CAN'T read as it takes too long like this. Oh well.
- By ShaynLola Date 24.03.07 21:16 UTC
Get well soon, Marianne :) The place just ain't the same without you ;)
- By Lokis mum [gb] Date 24.03.07 21:29 UTC
Marianne - just get back into that bed for another 24 hours .....forget about broadband, forget about moving - just lie there and let everything in the cosmos drift into its correct place.

Tomorrow, you WILL feel better, you WILL be able to pack everything up = and, hopefully, come Monday - you SHALL move houe, Cinderella!

Things will work out, I think you've just been building up to this point, and you've just popped your cork a tad early, girl!!

{{{mega hugs}}}

- By munrogirl76 Date 26.03.07 20:29 UTC
Oh dear :( Moving house is meant to be the one of the most stressful things in life, so when you have hopefully things can only get better :) And I hope you're feeling better now.
- By Trevor [gb] Date 27.03.07 04:35 UTC
Hi Marianne .....reckon this house move must beat all records for delays ....but the most important thing is that all the really nailbiting stuff has been resolved - the house IS now yours and you'll be installed in time for the rest of the Spring and Summer, plus you'll be moving away from those horrible neighbours :) ( heard about the egg throwing incident -).

Now just plump up those pillows and think about having your first barbeque in your lovely new garden looking out over those rolling fields ........

take care

Sing with me now, to the tune of Rod Stewart's "Sailing":

I am packing
Finally packing
All my stuff up
all my things
I am packing
all my animals
To live near fields
to be FREE!

:D :D :D Van being picked up Saturday morning, it wasn't available Friday -do you reckon I'm too optimistic on still planning to go to the breed show on Sunday???? :D

BTW anyone remember the horse incident at Christmas? One lot of neighbours had 2 ponies in their front garden, RSPCA turned up, ponies went. It WASN'T me who reported them bu they think it was so we now have a THIRD set of neihbours against us.
- By belgian bonkers Date 27.03.07 11:15 UTC
Best of luck Marianne.
Hope everything finally goes to plan for you and yours.

Sarah.

Joined in - but don't think v. tuneful so apologies to all!

Not long now Marianne!

And yes - poss. little too optimistic but the unpacking won't go anywhere so will wait for your return ;)

Well they won't be your neighbours for much longer will they !  thankfully for you!
- By Lori Date 27.03.07 14:17 UTC
Just put the TP, bedding and some basics in the car - the rest can wait til after the show. Good luck!!
- By Goldmali Date 27.03.07 14:52 UTC
I'm worn out packing already. WHY DO I HAVE SO MANY BOOKS ?????? (No, really, don't answer that....... I love my books and I will NOT eBay them!!)
- By Trevor [gb] Date 27.03.07 17:15 UTC
Definitely do the show - the thing is that although the packing needs to be done now the unpacking can take as long as you like :D - speaking as one who still has cases of STUFF  unpacked in the shed nearly 2 years after our move :)

I won't be going to this years breed open  -so good luck !

Yvonne
