What a brill couple of days for the Soli-monster!
Yesterday I posted on a thread about how she'd hackled a little bit at a cavvy but not made any noise - she didn't mock-charge it either, which is fantastic for her - well, today she's excelled herself :)
We were at the woods again, trying to find an hour's trail that doesn't involve getting lost (the one I've taken 3 times has ended a different way every time ), we came to a fork on a wide bit of trail and Soli ran on ahead - then I spotted a hefty, hairy GSD coming the other way! I called her back but too late, she was too close to it - but she didn't do anything except hackle a little :D woo!
As if that wasn't brilliant enough, it decided it wanted to chase her - and she dodged out of its way with just a teeny little worried grumble, the sort she gives Remy when he wants to play (she hasn't figured out how to yet!) :)
We met it again later in the walk, and my theory of her behaving because of plenty of space was binned - we were on a narrow path, she just hackled a little and dodged it calmly. She even doubled back when it'd gone past me to try and sniff it! Sadly that made it chase her again, but she still didn't do anything :) she didn't even try to do anything at the end of the walk, when she clocked it waiting to get in its owners' car and she was on a lead! :)
I AM SO PROUD!!!!!!! :D :D :D
