We are looking to move .  I would like to live in a rural area either Cheshire/lancashire-North Wales.

I have looked at lots of agents and as yet have found nothing that takes my fancy.

Problem is I have got around £225.000-not alot when you want something with a bit of land or a big garden .

You know the look-detached with roses round the door !!!

You wouldn't even get a flat with a car parking space for that here!

Good luck with your search.

I moved to Wales 6 years ago this year, think it was about the right time to do it!

Good luck with hunting :)  I thought about moving a few months ago but with only 100K to spend there was just nothing better than what I already have   I was brought up in Lancashire and its a great place to live.  Lovely countryside but I couldn't tell you what prices are like there now.  I really hope you find the ideal property :)

Don't fancy Scotty Land do you?? I had a small holding that you could buy for around £150,000....two and a half acres of land, half an acre of river frontage and it was Dumfries and Galloway...we travel and visit North Wales quite a lot, go fishing and doggy swimming with Storm, maybe look around there? All the best, Dawn

If you want a good tenant newfiedreams, just let me know, I'd love to live in Dumfries & Galloway and become a hermit!

Hiya..................i live in the golden valley, between Hereford and Mid Wales....you would get something nice around here for that money, you could even get a very rural detached place for that but you might have to spenda bit to do it up but they are around here at that price!"
