Hi I was just wondering after watching the Crufts Preview that they stated the Dandie Dinmont to be a breed that was not going to be around for much longer due to people not breeding them and wanting them as pets.
I remember when I was a wee child (I am only 30 years you know!) I wanted a dandie dinmont!  I do still love the breed but have a larger breed dog now and would have to move house before I added any more doggies!!
Also the saluki, I do not see many of those around and it is another breed I really like.
If you have one of these breeds or know of anyone that does then drop me  line as it would be nice to know that they are still around!!!

I think they willl be around for a lot longer, quite a few come to m traiing club.  Glaucoma is a big problem in the breed so they do need health tests.
