Hi

I have a very active 2 year old Shar Pei who is pretty good off the lead (for a Shar Pei he is fantastic) but he wants to hunt and has so far managed to catch 2 rats and a magpie - he's too slow for rabbits thank god.  Is there anyway I can stop him doing this or else train him to do something constructive on our walks?  He completely forgets where he is when he's on the hunt!

Also has anyone ever done any training with Shar Pei other than just obediance classes?

personally i would give my right arm for a dog that caught 2 rats and a magpie!!! How more constructive can you get than that???

Must admit I wasn't too upset about the rats but it was horrible to watch the magpie!
