I have done a few car booties in the past!
I personally do not put prices on my items as if people see a price they think that is what you are going to stick to and don't bother asking about it.
Normally buyers will try and drop the price which you are asking for, never give up too easily! always go up a bit from their offer!
I also re arrange my stall every now and then as when buyers walk round (and some walk round about 10 times!) my stall has changed!

Also be aware of the 'Traders' or 'dealers' these people float around your car while you are trying to unpack your stuff!  It can be very annoying! They are trying to look out for any goodies you may have before anyone else gets it!!
All that a side, I do enjoy car booties, you get to meet people while earning a bit of pocket money!

I always take with me:
A table and cover (decorators table and sheet)
Warm clothes for the early morning booties!
a waist belt bag with lots of coppers and silver coins for change
a few carrier bags to put peoples bought goods in

And most importantly a flask of COFFEE!! and some sandwiches!

Good luck and enjoy!!!!

Xxx
