When we changed our vehicle taxation class we couldn't do it at a Post Office but had to visit the main licencing centre for our county. That was about 10 years ago so may be able to do it on line now.

It wasn't complicated just time consuming :)

You need to go with all the docs to the nearest taxation office(tells you on the Registration Certificate-just got a new one for mine as the colour can't be a fancy name anymore:rolleyes: !)& change it there Shouldn't be too difficult When I've altered my car's reg to my private plate it was just a case of handing everything over & getting the new tax disc & then they send you a new reg cert

oh that sounds ok!!!! so they dont take everything away without giving you a disc?

Nope LOL I had to buy new number plates because I forgot to take the ones with the private reg with me !! & I would have been breaking the law if I had driven it with the tax disc with the new number & the original number plates ! make sure you have the MOT, insurance etc

Mine is going to be a 2.3 ldv cub (abit like a nissan serena) it has a police Cell in the back!!!!!(which is coming out!!!!)

Yes, I have an Iveco dog van with 6 large cages. It's old but the engine is sound - it got me to Aviemore and back :) Big enough to carry all the rally gear including rig and we can sleep in it if need be. Mind you, one night's enough :rolleyes:
