Hi all
Been away for a few months and news of my ppregnancy found a bigger house and moved on 20th december and only now have the net back on. Well as i'm a few days from being 6 months we are trying to decide on a pushchair but haven't a clue.
I'd like something that i can get in a car but intend to do lots of walking as v close to town centre now , and needs to be dog friendly.
Hints, tips etc gladly recieved.
Thanks
Marie
PS any chance of traing the 2 cavs to pull the buggy with me on a wheely board :)

Wow!  Congratulations on the pregnancy, if you've posted before, I've obviously missed it!!!

Can't advise on prams as it's been a long time since I had one, but really, really pleased for you. :-)

Thanks. No i went through a bit of a depressed stage thanks to over bearing m in law and had just started new school. BUT i'm happy enough now. Think the girls will love having their own human play thing though

Hiya

I have 2. I have the Quinny Buzz, plus car seat and carry cot. Its very cool, brill for round town, opens and closes easily - but rubbish cross country. For walking the dogs I have a 3 wheeler pushchair from Mothercare that came with foot muff and bag and rain cover and is very comfy and has fab suspension and cost about £200 all in. Its not brill for a new born though - for that I use the carry cot and Quinny :)

C :)

Thanks Carla. I have been looking at the Quinnys and they have such cool colours. I just can't get over the cost of them though  Have mother care book downstairs so will have a look at both.

Hello,
I've got one of these http://www.pushchairsandmore.co.uk/site/1641389/product/134-8463958 its great for off roading with air filled wheels, the wheels can also easily be removed and you can get a carry cot to fit it to, also you can have baby facing you as well as facing out. (if you click on enlarge image it shows all the diff possitions)

Go into E Bay and into either 2 in one prams or 3 in one prams then type in tako (they are new) I have just bought my granddaughters it arrived yesterday, super sturdy pram from Germany very reasonable price and arrived in 4 days from ordering does baby until its 36 months old, price very reasonable, my daughter in law has a tako pram but in different model and colour., or go direct to the site www.knirpsenland.com sorry dont know how to do links.

Congratulations!! Well, in my opinion you will need two pushchairs. A nice stable one that you can stand stright up to push,
nice large wheels for walking, warm and comfortable for baby with rain cover, and footmuff. my daughter had a baby 29th Dec 06
and she brought a sheepskin footmuff of ebay. It is sooo warm and soft that you only have to put a hat and cardy on baby.
Then you need a recliner that folds flat, easy to fold and unfold quickly. And try it in your boot or hatchback before you buy it!!
Because it may not fit!! also try folding it up yourself and pushing it. There is no pushchairs out there that does it all did we look egh!.
Baby needs to strech its back and lay nearly flat. In the early weeks.
As I think, if you are a driving mom, baby will spend a lot of time in the car seat.
There are some beautiful large wicker cribs that last as long as you will need them in the lounge on ebay.
They come from Germany.
Best of luck
