I am at present using Vitalin for all my older dogs and very pleased with the results. I have 3 on Salmon & Potato and 3 on Lamb & Rice. I would like to know if any one has fed their puppies their Puppy/Junior Complete.

Yes, I've a boxer baby 14 weeks who is doing very well on the puppy/junior complete. I've got 1 girl on bitch diet who looks fantastic and another girl on the senior who is loosing a little weight now on it (what the senior is designed for as well as hypo-allergenic's and older dogs).
I recommend the vitalin foods my boxers are on.

I did not know Vitalin was still available anymore,my parents had a Dobe years ago ,they got her from a breeder who did not want her anymore as everytime he mated her she would get a benign tumour instead of puppies, she was fed on this ,and she was always in fab condition and passed away age 15

Yes it is, but not the Muesli type. This is Complete kibble, and I'am quite impressed with it !
My oldest bitch of 61/2 yrs, is looking really great on the Salmon & Potato complete, she acts as though she is a youngster and does keep the younger ones well under control. What I like is that the 1st ingredient is either salmon or Lamb, in the Lamb & Rice. The latter even smells like a lamb joint when you open the sack ! I have now started another bitch on the Bitch diet, which she loves, so I will look forward to see what difference there is once she whelps and starts feeding pups. I am seriously considering using the Puppy one.

Thanks Minpin will have a look,I feed raw but I always like to keep something in the house for emergencies for Travis for example just before xmas when I went to the freezer in the shed and the freezer had broken down and everything in it was ruined

Hi

I too have found Vitalin to be good food and good value. Certainly for Adult dogs. But I have changed from the puppy diet as I found it not suitable for a labrador as they start to grow. I don't think a puppy food can be suitable for both large and small breeds...so there is a compromise in the formula. I now prefer a specialist large breed food for the growing months in particular. But I do think the overal quality of the food is good.
