OK, I admit it - 9 dogs in the house causes an awful lot of dust, and although I'm an easy-going soul, I can't keep up with it at the moment - I've got better things to do, anyway!

Has anyone got an air filter type thing that actually reduces dust levels, and doesn't cost a fortune in replacement filters?   Never used one, so don't know much about them at all, or even if they're suitable.

If such a thing exists I want to know about it too! (Eight dogs in the house)

Air filtration systems for woodworkers eliminate fine particles of dust. They can be pricey but if you look around for a used one you might find a deal. There are some here to give you an idea. Woodworking mag have used equipment sections in the back. You can also try ebay and various other places. If you can't find a quiet one of those you could try something for clean rooms/computer servers. A quick google found these guys who do filters to keep bird rooms clean.

Thanks Lori. As you say they are pricey but it would be worth it to me in the winter when the dogs bring half the paddock in with them in the form of dust.
