Valentines day is coming up (yes I know Im a tad early:D) and I wondered what people were planning? Me and my OH take it in turns and this year is my year to do the day so I've postponed it till the weekend 17/18 and Im whisking him off to London for the night. I have booked us on to the London eye and from there....who knows?!? So what is everyone up to?

Nowt.  We don't 'do' valentine's day :)

I'm planning to take OH to his favourite restaurant on our anniversary next week as a surprise, though.

Have fun in London :)  I went on the Eye when I was there for a few days last month.  I think it's cheaper if you book online and I'd recommend you book the 'discovery flight' as you'll have a guide to point out all the landmarks...otherwise you're just be looking at a lot of impressive but anonymous buildings :D

Of course, if you're feeling flush, you can arrange to have a hamper with champagne ready and waiting when you board :)

Nothing :D :D Never have done :) Last year we bought one card and sent it to each other jointly :)

No, we don't do anything special either. We like to think we're romantic enough all the time! ;) :D

Have fun in London. :) We get each other a card and that's it. But husband's birthday is on 12th Feb so I will be taking him out to dinner then and I have his present bought.

We buy each other a card and sometimes go out for a meal but not on Valentines Day.

We did a couple of years ago and we were packed into the resturant like sardines !   I could have quite easily held the mans hand on the table next to us:rolleyes:.  So now if we we go out, its usually a few days after (its usually cheaper as well!! :D) or we cook a meal at home.

You know at first glance I thought the title was "my valentines day threat".. Takes me back to 27 years ago which was a leap year and I proposed to my boyfriend.  I won't go into details but he said yes and we're still married in our 27th year :)

We never usually do anything on Valentines day....not even exchange cards. But this year we will be in Mauritius on our Honeymoon....so thats romantic enough for me! ;-) :D

Hope you both have a lovely time in London. ;-)

Nothing! We've both reached the age when the best present is not having to hassle with gifts and cards. :-D
