Does anyone else's bitch have funny behaviour prior to a season?
My 2 year old is refusing to, erm, 'go' in the back garden. ;) I am having to take her out, on a lead, into the front garden or onto the grass verge across from my house before she will perform :) I live on a country lane that only goes to the 8 houses and 2 fields, so we don't get many vehicles, but it is very dark at night. If I'm not quick enough she will go in the house. I'm so fed up with it as the other dogs are not very happy with me (or her :) )
She is due in season sometime in the next month, though it will probably be sooner if previous seasons are an indication, and I must admit to wishing it was sooner rather than later :D

Buffy is two and she is just in season but she is usually sulky and shivery and wont leave the comfort of her bed or us, she will only go out for wee if you shut her out!!! and then she spends ages sat by the back door deciding if she is actually desperate enough to go!
Once her season is in full swing she is back to normal before about 80 day later starts to thikn she i having puppies and she does this all over again untill we up her rasberry leaf tablets!! Very strange little dog but we love her!
But hey cant be any worse than my pregnant mood swings!!

My 18 month old girl will have her second season next month. Last time she started to go very hysterical when she saw a dog, a very high pitched desperate yapping just a few days before I spotted some blood. This time she seems to start now already, although not with every dog we meet.
