Hi does anyone have any fitting instructions for a ford focus estate dog guard 52 model.
Or could someone take a picture of how they are fitted.
Thank You.

Got a quote from Ford garage today .
To fit the dog guard £300.
I just laughed.
So anyone thinking of buying one with no fitting instructions beware.

Hi
I have a Ford Focus estate and I have a ford fitted dog guard.
Can photograph if you wish.

Dog, is it the heavy 'luggage' restraint type? If so, there are two strong short arms that hold it into place, I used to have an estate with this one one...far safer and much more sturdy when I had two giants in the back...maybe try Halfords? Failing that, a local garage might be able to help? Failing THAT! Where do you live?? All the best, Dawn

Yes it is the heavy genuine Ford one.
We are in Leigh Lancashire.
I am lucky OH is a toolmaker. He will make all the parts.
It would just help to see one fitted.

I have sent you a PM.
Thank you for your help.

Hi haven't recieved a PM yet! But I haven't got a focus now...just a Hi Ace caged Van! You don't live far from me...maybe if you wnated a trip to Liverpool I could TRY to help and tell you....but I had the van for 2 years now and can't remember how it was in!!! Can you call into several Ford dealers and ask them how to put it in...or at least if they have a vehicle in with it??  Sorry can't help any further! All the best, Dawn
