Topic Dog Boards / Health / rumbling tummy

my nearly 2 year old rough collie boy has started to have a loud rumbling tummy at different times of the day for the last week or two. He doesn't seem bothered by it and acts normally in every way, barking and playing and isn't in any pain.
He doesn't usually take breakfast, but does anyone think he could be hungry or is there a medical reason for it. Food hasn't changed and I'm reluctant to take him to the vets unless I have to as he hates it.

Does he eat grass?  One of mine rumbles like mad after eating grass, only has to be a small amount.

Roughs can often have a sensitive digestive system.  A small breakfast might be all that he needs. :)

Although not sensitive at all, one of my Rough girls has to have breakfast or she'll bring up bile - I don't give her much, normally a weetabix or a bit of rice pud. Of course, as she gets it, the others have breakfast too. :D

Yes he is rather keen to eat grass, He did have weetabix as a pup so I will try him and of course the other one tomorrow and see if it helps.
Thanks for alll your comments
