does anyone know if you can cook marrow bones? my dogs wont eat them raw. if they are cooked do they splinter and are they dangerous?

You probably can cook them - but I certainly wouldn't. In general I wouldn't give my dogs any sort of cooked bone as they are more likely to splinter. That said you can buy roast bones or sterilised bones from petsathome.

Have you tried your dogs on raw chicken wings instead? That could be a better way of cleaning their teeth??
Marrow bones are not designed to be consumed (although many dogs like mine successfully do) they are designed to provide recreational chewing to ensure clean teeth and have the marrow and cartilage sucked out/off.
