A couple of weeks ago my 5 month old pup took a tumble while playing and hurt his front right leg. He was whimpering and holding it up, it didn't bother him when I touched it so I rubbed his shoulder/elbow and definitely heard and felt a 'click' after which he carried on playing and running around fine. Well, it happened again today :( he slipped on an empty pop bottle he was playing with and just sat there holding his leg up (no whimpering this time) so I gently rubbed around his elbow area again and again it clicked! He was running around again straight after! Should I be worried? Thanks.

Our last golden used to have this with his back legs, he was diagnosed with patella luxation - I'm not sure if this can happen to the front legs so maybe a visit to the vet might help?

He used to hold his leg so no weight was on it until we rubbed it and clicked it back into place.

Thanks Maria, I've booked him in on Wednesday - Hopefully we'll find out what it is :)

That's good, let me know how he gets on! :)
