Hi all,

Don't know how many of you out there could be fundraisers for your particular breed or maybe many of you attend and support them.

But, I have just seen a post on another forum from someone who volunteers for NCDL, the Liverpool branch had their fundraiser at weekend, the only down side (apart from the rain) was the passing off of 'dodgy tenners', when the police were notified they said its a common thing for these scumbags to pass them off at charitable events. I may be niave here, but it was news to me and given that I have recently volunteered to help out at a breed rescue I thought I would spread the word as best I can. If anyone has an event coming up be sure all your volunteers no what to look for.

I apologise if I am stating the obvious here, but if someone as big as NCDL were not aware maybe there are others like me, who did not.

Good Luck
Lynda

A while ago I drew some money from my bank account at a local Post Office went to shop bit where they had just got one of those ultra violet machines to check them, for a joke they put a tenner under the machine and guess what, I had just been given £50 in fake £10 notes, I was lucky they did replace them and got on to whoever had suplied them, just shows though even banks don't always check the money they are sending out and it makes you wonder how many innocent people had walked out with them.
