Has anyone had experience of using the dog kennels provided at various attractions Legoland or marwell in particular, I have a reasonably shy cocker spaniel 10 month old bitch, My main concern was the 'security' of such kennels if anyone has any knowledge on this subject I would be most grateful.

I used the kennnels at Marwell a couple of years ago, we didn't stay there very long as we were on route elsewhere. Unless they've changed they were outside the main entrance under some trees and totally unsupervised, you paid a deposit and were given a padlock to lock the dog in and that was it. Owning a large, noisy GSD I was pretty confident he would still be there when I returned but I wouldn't have left a smaller breed there. Ingrid
