When ever we stand with our beagle he always puts one of his feet on ours ?????  Is this common ?????

Oh yes :) My dogs will sit on my feet if I stop. They even do it when I'm sitting :D Standing on feet is definately a dog thing ;)

I agree.  Mine usually stand all over me and if I sit down they usually come and sit on my knee and their not small.  The main culprit is my Flatcoat.

Count yourself lucky that he's a beagle as my Newfie sits/stands on our feet and tries to sit on laps too

Oh yes - both do it, but the flatcoat's definitely much worse, by preference he will lie on your feet rather than on his bed... and having your feet stood on is alright except for claws sticking in them when you haven't got shoes on ;)
