hi there,

this is my first post on here, i have read for hrs on here and have seen some great info, my bitch is late into her pregnancy, she was mated several times over 1 week so therefore is day 68 from 1st mating or only day 61 from last mating. she is very comfortable, relaxed, still eating, but is sleeping loads!
she is not very large at all but is clearly pregnant and there is plenty of puppy movement, i am concerned that if she concieved earlier rather than later she is quite a few days over due and could have a very small litter, when would any of your with more experience start to worry.  my girl had a litter 2 yrs ago and produced 9 healthy babies, these were born one day early from her first mating.

any advice would be fantastic, i dont want to rush her up the vets just yet as she gets very upset when visiting the vets and the last thing i want to do right now is stress her!
her temp reached its lowest yesterday at 36.9 and has today began to rise again. she is 4 years and very fit and healthy

If she isn't showing any signs of discomfort, and is happy in herself, I'd leave it a few more days. She maybe hasn't taken from the first mating.
