We bought a bag of frozen tripe today thinking it was the one we always have, but on the bag it says "For working dogs only, not to be fed to pets".  Anyone know what they put in this tripe that they dont put in others?

Probably nothing Daz, I think it is so it can be zero rated for VAT ;)

Ok!  I didnt think of that!  Weve been putting a tiny amount of tripe in for our Gordon Setter puppy since we took him home, he absolutely loves it and wont touch his dinner without his tripe in there.  I wont go chucking it in the bin then!  Cheers for your very prompt replies all!

Just be careful - often dogs that have something tasty added to their kibble end up only eating the tasty food and leaving the rest :(

Nothing: it's exactly the same. By labelling it like that it means no VAT is payable, so it's cheaper. ;)
